The Libyan government, mandated by the House of Representatives, announced its plan to establish solar power plants in four regions in partnership with a consortium of Chinese “BFi” companies.

This came during the meeting of the Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives, Counselor Aguila Saleh, in his office in the city of Al-Qubba, with the Minister of Investment in the Libyan government, Ali Al-Saidi, accompanied by the head of the Chinese “BFi” consortium Saleh Attia, to discuss the investment projects concluded by the Ministry of Investment of the Libyan government with the consortium of Chinese companies.

Among these projects are the construction of solar power plants in the cities and regions of Al-Mukhaili, Tamanhint, Kufra and Hun, as well as desalination plants in a number of cities.
