The Libyan Football Association has begun preparations to hold the six-way stage to determine the champion of the Libyan Premier League competition for the 2023-2024 season in Italy.

The Federation announced this decision after a session held under the chairmanship of Abdul Hakim Al-Shalmani, where an agreement was reached with representatives of the clubs qualifying for the final stage, and the date for the start of the competitions was set on June 25, in Italian stadiums.

It was proposed to hold the competitions in Libya if the necessary support to move the matches to Italy was not available, but the Libyan government pledged to provide the required support, which led to the final announcement that the matches would be held in Italy.

It is expected that Al-Nasr, Al-Ahly Benghazi and Al-Akhdar clubs from the first group will participate in the final stage of the tournament, along with Al-Ahly Tripoli, Al-Suwaihli and Al-Madina from the second group.
