The Libyan Football Association has set a new date for the start of the six-way competition to win the Libyan Premier League title for the 2023-24 season.

The matches will be held in Italian stadiums between June 27 and July 9.

The competitions were scheduled to start on Monday, but the Federation decided to postpone them until next Thursday due to problems in the procedures for obtaining travel visas for the participating clubs.

Al-Nasr, Al-Ahly Benghazi, Al-Hilal, Al-Ahly Tripoli, Al-Suwaihli, and Al-Madina clubs are competing in this decisive stage that will determine the champion of the Libyan Premier League in its forty-ninth edition.

The Federation’s Competitions Committee announced the schedule for the six-time championship matches, where the matches will be held at a uniform time, at seven o’clock in the evening, Tripoli time.

The first round next Thursday will witness three matches: The Carlo Castellani Stadium in Empoli will host the Al-Nasr match against Al-Suwaihli, the Viola Park Stadium in Florence will host the Al-Hilal match against Al-Ahly Benghazi, while the Arena Garibaldi Stadium in Pisa will host the summit of the round between Al-Ahly Tripoli and Al-Madina.
