Authorities in the southern city of Kufra have announced that they are no longer able to accommodate thousands of displaced Sudanese fleeing the war and are facing difficulties in providing them with basic services.
Displaced Sudanese continue to flock to the city on a daily basis in illegal entries to escape the nearly year-long conflict in their country in search of a safe haven.
Libyan citizens are very concerned about the accumulation of their numbers and their spread everywhere, especially in light of the security and economic difficulties that the city is going through.
The National Institution for Human Rights in Libya revealed in a statement last week that there are more than 13,000 displaced Sudanese, warning of the worsening humanitarian situation in the city of Kufra.
