The Director General of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, Al-Qasim Khalifa Haftar, signed contracts for a number of projects in the city of Derna and the cities of Jabal Al-Akhdar in cooperation with the Egyptian company NEOM.
This step comes within the framework of the Fund’s strategic vision for the development, development and reconstruction of Libyan cities and regions.
The official page of the Fund provided details about the signing of the contracts in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sons of Sinai and a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian NEOM Company, Ibrahim Al-Argany.
A number of other agreements were signed with the Egyptian Arab Contractors Company, as part of the Fund’s efforts to deal with the repercussions resulting from the devastating floods that struck the city of Derna in September 2023, which resulted in significant losses of life and property, according to semi-official reports.
