The “X” platform has witnessed a huge influx of suspicious and offensive images in recent hours, following the launch of the latest version of the chatbot “Grok”, developed by billionaire Elon Musk.

Since Wednesday, the new version of “Grok” has started offering a new feature to generate images, which has led to the spread of inappropriate content.

The danger is that the images generated by artificial intelligence by “Grok” included strange and offensive scenes, for example, images of former US President Donald Trump flying a plane towards the World Trade Center, and images of the international singer Taylor Swift, Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in inappropriate positions appeared.

“Grok” is able to produce a variety of images that other AI tools, such as “OpenAI’s” ChatGPT, reject due to their strict rules against offensive content and misinformation.

In contrast, “Grok” does not hesitate to implement requests that include copyright infringement, such as producing images of famous fictional characters in inappropriate contexts.

These developments come at a time when many Western countries are seeking to impose laws to limit the use of AI tools and prevent the spread of misinformation and offensive images that could affect security situations and elections.
