The head of the Libyan government in charge of the House of Representatives, Osama Hammad, stressed his government’s readiness to extend a helping hand to establish security in the western regions of the country, and this came after the killing of 9 young men in the Al-Hadba project in Tripoli.

Hammad wrote on his page on the platform “X”: “We condemn in the strongest terms the crime that shook the pillars of humanity in the west of the country after the killing of 9 young people in the plateau project in Tripoli, and the scenario of chaos and tampering continues due to the control of armed groups on the reins of affairs in the capital, Tripoli.”

“From this standpoint, we call on the Attorney General to open an immediate investigation to find out the circumstances of the incident, and we affirm the readiness of the Libyan government to extend a helping hand to extend security and control the security situation in the western regions of the country and secure them, just as the eastern and southern regions of the country have been secured, which have become safe and stable thanks to the efforts of the armed forces and the Libyan government’s Ministry of Interior,” Hammad said.
