The Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, reiterated Libya’s firm position in support of the Palestinian cause and rejection of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
This came during a meeting with Palestinian Authority Deputy Prime Minister and Information Minister Nabil Abu Rudeineh on the sidelines of the celebrations of the 72nd anniversary of Libya’s independence.
Dabaiba and Abourdineh discussed the latest developments in the political situation in the Palestinian territories, and the mechanism for providing humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
In more than one speech, Dabaiba called for an immediate end to Israel’s aggression against the Gaza Strip, accusing the world system of double standards in this regard.
