In an important development regarding the condition of star Kylian Mbappe, the French Football Federation announced the details of the treatment plan after his violent injury during the Austria match in the 2024 European Football Championship.

Mbappe (25 years old) suffered a broken nose during France’s match against Austria, when he collided with the shoulder of Austrian defender Kevin Danso in a tackle during a header.

Mbappe left the field near the end of the match, which ended with the Roosters winning with an own goal scored by Austria defender Max Wuber in his own net, in an ambulance to undergo an X-ray examination.

The French Football Federation issued a statement explaining all the details, noting that Mbappe was suffering from a broken nose, and returned to the Rooster camp after checking on his condition in the hospital.

The statement explained that “Mbappe will receive treatment during the next few days, but he will not undergo surgery in the near future.”

The statement added: “A special mask will be made for him so that Mbappe can return to participate in matches after a period allocated for treatment.”

For his part, Mbappe reassured his fans via a tweet on the “X” platform, asking: “Do you have ideas about medical masks?”

The French national team is preparing to play its next match against the Netherlands, in the second round of the group stage of the European Championship, scheduled for next Friday at the Red Bull Arena.
