French police announced on Saturday the arrest of Algerian activist Saeed Ben sedira in Paris.
The newspaper “Maroc Intelligence” reported that French police suspect that Ben sedira was planning to assassinate dissidents with the intention of attaching the charge to Morocco.
The newspaper reported that Ben sedira, who lives in London and, like many Algerian dissidents, is suspected of having made contacts with Algerians who infiltrated France to commit assassinations against dissidents of various orientations.
The Algerian government has not issued any official statement on the issue so far.
Ben sedira lives in London, is active on social media and is known for his repeated attacks on Morocco.
