The official spokesman for the Court of First Instance in Sousse, Wissam Al-Sherif, confirmed in a statement to the Tunisian “Mosaique” newspaper that the court decided to postpone the session to June 8, 2024.

Al-Sharif explained that the court rejected all requests for release, issued a deposit card against one of the defendants, and also decided to provide a sign language specialist for a defendant suffering from hearing loss to ensure that she communicates effectively during the trial.
