A high-level delegation from Niger arrived in the Libyan city of Benghazi on Wednesday to discuss important issues, most notably the problem of illegal migration and securing the common border.

The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Libyan government in Benghazi on Thursday, in the presence of the Commissioner for African Affairs, Issa Abdulmajeed, according to a statement issued by the Libyan government.

The designated Prime Minister by the Libyan House of Representatives, Osama Hamad, discussed with the Nigerien Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakari Yawo Sangare, and the envoy of the Military Council in Niger, Gali Olombo Malfi, the issues of migration and securing the common borders.
