Egyptian media announced the death of a young Egyptian man after falling into a deep well, in Minya Governorate, while wandering in desert land after sunset prayers.

Social media platforms called 36-year-old Mohamed Taha Abdel Aziz “Rayan Misr”, in a retrospective of the tragedy of Moroccan child Rayan.

The young man fell last Monday in a groundwater well 23 meters deep, and rescue efforts were only able to extract his body after six bitter days of searching, and rescue teams transferred him to the General Hospital in Minya.

It is noteworthy that Minya Governorate is witnessing frequent drowning incidents, as the river rescue forces in the center of Minya announced on Saturday the recovery of the bodies of two children who drowned while playing on the edge of the canal.

The death of Moroccan child Rayan Oram, after staying five nights stuck in a dry well 32 meters deep, in the village of Ighran in the province of Chefchaouen (northern Morocco), aroused the attention, sympathy and solidarity of various countries of the world, and the tragedy turned from a local incident into a global story.
