The Arab Cycling Federation is organizing four important tournaments in various competitions during the second half of this year. These tournaments will be held in Tunisia, Egypt, and Iraq.
At the forefront of the competitions is Tunisia’s preparations to host two major championships, the Mountain Bike Championship for the age groups, in addition to the Arab Club Championship of Champions for both men and women, which is scheduled to be held next October.
Egypt is waiting to host the track championship for all age groups and stages, in mid-November, which will bring together the most prominent competitions in this field.
At the same time, the eyes of cycling enthusiasts are turning to Iraq, which is preparing to host the Arab Road Cycling Championship, where all stages and age groups will compete at the end of next November.
In a related context, the Executive Office of the Arab Cycling Federation, headed by Sheikh Faisal bin Humaid Al Qasimi, is scheduled to hold its first meeting in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, next Friday.
During this meeting, the latest preparations and achievements will be reviewed, in addition to discussing the obstacles facing hosting some tournaments and developing appropriate solutions for them.
An American magazine: Egypt requested significant support from Washington before the “Rafah operation”
