Morocco kicked off their Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a 3-0 win over Tanzania in Wednesday’s Group F clash.

The Moroccan hat-trick (Atlas Lions) was scored by Romain Saiss, Azzedine Onahi and Youssef Nasiri in the 30th, 77th and 80th minutes respectively.

The Tanzanian national team completed the confrontation with ten players after the expulsion of defender Novatus Mirouchi in the 70th minute of the meeting, which took place at the stadium “Laurent Boco” in the Ivorian city of San Pedro (Ivory Coast).

With this victory, Morocco topped Group F with three points, while Tanzania remained without points at the bottom of the group.
