The draw for the African Champions League for the 2024-2025 season, which was held today, Thursday, resulted in a possible confrontation for Al-Ahly club in the round of 32 with the winner of the match between Kenya’s Jormahia and Al-Merreikh Juba, the champion of South Sudan.

Egypt is represented in the African Champions League this season by Al-Ahly and Pyramids, while Zamalek and Al-Masry participate in the Confederation Cup.

Al-Ahly holds the African Champions League title after its victory last season over Esperance of Tunisia in the final match with a clean goal.

It is expected that the next confrontation for Al-Ahly will be an opportunity to strengthen its track record in the tournament, as it seeks to maintain its title and continue achieving successes on the African level.
