The African Badminton Championship kicked off on Monday, which Egypt will host from February 12 to 18 at Cairo Stadium.
The tournament will be held at Hall 4 of the indoor complex in Cairo Stadium, provided that the participating teams stay in one of the hotels near the stadium.
It is worth noting that the winner of the championship at the men’s and women’s team level will advance to the next world championship to be held next April in China.
The tournament will witness the participation of 11 teams: Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria, Mauritius, Cameroon, Seychelles, Equatorial Guinea, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
