After intensive efforts, the bank announced the restoration of full service to customers, calling on them to cooperate in returning funds that do not belong to them, stressing that no charges will be brought against customers who inadvertently benefited from the technical error.
The bank’s chief executive, Abby Sano, pointed out that the incident was caused by a routine update of the system and not a cyberattack, stressing that the bank’s security is followed in accordance with international standards.
The Bank is currently focused on improving its systems and providing stable and secure financial services to its customers, while continuing to provide the necessary clarifications and support to affected customers.
