Director of General Administration to Combat smuggling thwarted an attempt to smuggle large quantities of fuel through one of their land convoys north of the Sudanese Red Sea state.
Director of Customs Forces Hassab-al-Karim Adam Al-Nur stressed their continued efforts to eliminate smuggling operations that sabotage the economy and waste the country’s resources, praising the efforts made by the anti-smuggling forces to tighten control over all border crossings, especially in light of these circumstances that Sudan is going through.
Director of Sudanese General Administration for Combating Smuggling, Major General Youssef Babiker, renewed his full commitment to monitoring and following up on all smuggling attempts, calling for following proper methods for import and export.
Director of the Anti-Smuggling Department in the Red Sea State, Khaled Muhammad Saleh, explained that his forces in one of the raids were able to seize four vehicles carrying large quantities of fuel, and that four defendants were arrested and the necessary legal measures were taken against them.
