Today, Prime Minister Osama Hamad began an official visit to the city of Murzuq, in a step that follows the comprehensive national reconciliation that took place under the auspices of the Commander-in-Chief of the Arab Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.

During the visit, Hamad announced the start of the actual plan for development and reconstruction within the city, in the presence of the Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and other members of the Council, and the Director General of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, who is charged with supervising and following up on the Sebha and Murzuq projects.

This plan aims to rebuild the city and improve the infrastructure and basic services for the population, with a focus on health, educational, service and housing projects, with the aim of achieving stability and sustainable development in the region.
