Senegal coach Aliou Cisse has been hospitalised after falling ill following his side’s 3-1 win over Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Cisse showed no symptoms of illness when he spoke to reporters during a news conference after Friday’s match.
Defending champions Senegal maintained their place among the 16 teams with their second consecutive Group C victory.
Senegal face Guinea in their final group match in Yamoussoukro on Tuesday. With this victory, Senegal now has 6 points, while Cameroon continued to occupy the runners-up with one point, followed by Guinea (one point), and Gambia with zero points.
