The operations room of the ground forces in the Tariq bin Ziyad Brigade, in cooperation with the Anti-Narcotics Service, managed to seize a large shipment containing more than 20 million Tramadol tablets, coming through the port of Benghazi.
The seizure was based on accurate information and intelligence investigations, as the ground forces assigned Major General Tariq bin Ziyad Al-Mu’azzaz to assist in this operation, and the seizure process was successful, according to statements by the Military Media Division.
As part of efforts to combat crime and smuggling, this huge quantity of narcotic pills was destroyed in the presence of the Public Prosecution inside the port of Benghazi.
The Libyan Army’s Media Division published photos showing the burning of the seized quantity, emphasizing the effective response to organized crime and the protection of national security.
