The stardom of Robert Lewandowski, the Polish striker for Barcelona, is facing a major challenge after accusations that he obtained two university degrees illegally.
The accusations relate to “purchasing degrees” from a private university in the city of Lodz, where, according to the allegations leveled against him, the player did not take the examinations required to obtain these degrees.
The supposed supervisor of the two exams, Dr. Barbara Mrozinska, stated that Lewandowski did not attend classes or exams related to the subjects in which he obtained high grades, indicating that she would have remembered the presence of a student of Lewandowski’s fame.
Lewandowski currently plays as a striker for the Spanish club Barcelona and is the captain of the Polish national football team. He is known for his scoring prowess. He scored more than 600 official goals during his career with clubs and the national team and is Poland’s all-time top scorer.
