The Egyptian national team’s technical staff announced the presence of Mohamed Salah on the team’s roster that will play the matches between Burkina Faso and Guinea Bissau in the third and fourth round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The announcement came on the official page of the Egyptian Football Association on the social networking site (Facebook), and the team’s roster included: Goalkeepers: Mohamed El-Shenawy, Mostafa Schubert, Mohamed Awad, Mahdi Soliman, and defenders: Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Rami Rabia, Yasser Ibrahim, Ahmed Ramadan, Mohamed Hani, Akram Tawfiq, Mohamed Hamdy and Ahmed Fattouh.

It is noteworthy that Salah missed the Egyptian national team’s last two matches against New Zealand and Croatia in the friendly Egyptian Capital Cup tournament.
