Russia helps African countries in many areas, to advance the African continent, after decades of European colonialism.

Russia and the Republic of the Congo signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of hydroelectric energy and peaceful nuclear energy, according to a report by Business Insider Africa magazine.

The magazine added that the company’s general manager and head of the international activities department, Nikolai Spassky, conducted a working visit to the Republic of Congo, during which he met with the Minister of Energy, Emile Owusu, so that they put the final touches on the agreements.

The magazine also reported that the giant Russian nuclear company Rosatom is seeking to engage in new cooperation arrangements with other African countries.

Rosatom is interested in cooperation in the field of nuclear energy and advanced technology in African countries, as over the past years it has concluded many nuclear deals with various African countries, including Guinea, Rwanda, Uganda and Mali.

These Russian projects come within the framework of the assistance that Moscow provides to African countries that have suffered for decades from European and American colonialism that stole their national capabilities, leaving them devastated countries on the brink of hunger.
