Royal Jordanian Airlines has announced plans to resume flights to Libya in the coming weeks, with the company expected to start operating at least three daily flights to the capital, Tripoli.

The company’s chairman, Samer Majali, explained that the resumption of flights may begin in September, with the possibility of increasing the number of flights to daily flights soon.

Majali confirmed that the company has been seeking to resume flights to Libya for some time and has conducted a security survey of procedures at Libyan airports.

He pointed out that an agreement has been reached with the relevant Libyan authorities, which allowed for obtaining approval to resume operations to Tripoli Airport.
