Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) rescued around 70 irregular migrants off the Libyan coast, including 5 children and a pregnant woman, who were on board three unseaworthy boats.
The organization said in a statement that 5 migrants refused to disembark and remained on board the fiberglass boats, expressing concern about this situation. The lack of safe and legal options, coupled with violence in Libya, forces migrants to cross the sea, causing an increase in the number of victims.
