The General Administration of Security Operations of the Ministry of the Interior in the Libyan “National Unity Government,” which has expired, seized quantities of smuggled fuel in vehicles for travelers through the Ras Jadir border crossing between Tunisia and Libya.

The administration said on its Facebook page that its patrols also seized subsidized food supplies, electrical appliances, and an amount of money exceeding what was authorized.

This came after the reopening of the border crossing between Libya and Tunisia, last Monday, in the presence of the Minister of Interior in the outgoing National Unity Government, Imad Trabelsi, and his Tunisian counterpart, Khaled Al-Nouri, after a closure that lasted about three months.
