Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the leaders of African countries are not asking for help or reaching out for help, but rather demanding both fair and honest economic action.
Putin stated that after many contacts with the leaders of African countries, “no one reached out his hand, no one asked for anything, everyone only talked about one thing let’s build fair and honest economic work together, and I want to tell you that of course we are ready to support our African friends when necessary.”
Putin pointed out that Russia sent grain for free to several countries on the African continent and explained: “Where it is necessary to do this, we are ready, but we are more willing to work together and fruitfully on an equal footing, and Africa expects this from the whole world and from Russia, and of course we will work with you exactly in this way and on these principles.”
