Arabian Gulf Oil Company, a Libyan oil company based in Benghazi controlled by the National Oil Corporation, increases its crude oil production announced its success in restoring the well of the Masla oil field to production, after a period of suspension that lasted for two years and eight months.
The company has announced a plan to convert the HH59-65 well, currently classified as an “observation well” and located in the Masla oil field, into a producing well after a hiatus of two years and eight months.
In particular, the well has started production with a capacity of 2,1 thousand barrels of oil per day, with an associated water percentage of 3 percent.
