Libya’s Presidential Council convened on Sunday a meeting of preparatory committee for the national reconciliation conference in Zuwara.
According to a brief statement by Representative of Presidential Council of Libya Abdullah Al-Lafi, and delegates of the council attended the meeting as well as representatives of the African Union and United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).
First day’s agenda the meeting discussed previous meeting’s minutes, then they reviewed and discussed the preparatory committee’s internal regulations.
The upcoming comprehensive National Reconciliation Conference is eagerly anticipated, as all Libyan factions and components will participate in it so as to strengthen unity and national settlement.
