Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has made promises and pledges to achieve seven priorities during his new six-year presidency.
President El-Sisi pledged to protect and maintain Egypt’s national security in light of the turbulent regional and international environment, with a focus on building balanced relations with all parties to promote stability and development, stressing the need to strengthen national dialogue and implement recommendations that are agreed upon in various political, economic, and social sectors.
President Sisi expressed his commitment to adopting strategies that maximize Egypt’s economic capabilities and resources and enhance the resilience and resilience of the economy in the face of crises.
He also announced an increase in agricultural area and productivity in order to achieve food security and attract more local and foreign investments to create millions of jobs.
President Sisi also pledged to implement a comprehensive institutional reform aimed at ensuring fiscal discipline and achieving sound governance, by rationalizing public spending, increasing public revenues, and transforming Egypt into a regional hub for transport, transit trade, and new and renewable energy.
The pledges included improving the quality of education and enhancing the public health of citizens, in addition to maximizing the use of Egypt’s human resources and strengthening social networks, by increasing spending on social protection, improving the standard of living, and providing housing.
Sisi stressed the continued implementation of the strategic plan for urban development and the completion of the construction of new cities, with the development of major unplanned areas, and the completion of the “housing for all Egyptians” program.
These priorities represent a set of measures aimed at enhancing security and stability in Egypt and achieving comprehensive development in various fields.
