President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune received on Thursday a written message from President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, regarding the current situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
“The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a written message from the President of the State of Palestine, Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, regarding the current situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the brutal aggression committed by the occupying forces against the Palestinian people,” the statement read.
The message was delivered “during the audience granted today by the Prime Minister, Mr. Nadir Larbaoui, to the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Palestinian Fatah movement, Mr. Jibril Rajoub”.
During the audience, the Palestinian official “expressed the warm thanks and high esteem of the Palestinian State, leadership, Government and people, to the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, as well as to the Algerian people, for Algeria’s constant and authentic position in favor of the Palestinian cause.
Mr. Jibril Rajoub also “highly welcomed the strategic vision of the President of the Republic and the relevance of his efforts and approaches in favor of Palestinian national reconciliation, the only way to confront the occupation and its practices of aggression against the brotherly Palestinian people.
