Libyan political analyst Hamad al-Khazar said that the United States is trying through military moves to increase its presence in Libya.

In statements published by Eram News, Al-Khazar pointed to the United States’ move to conduct about six military flights between its bases and the Al-Watiya base in Libya.

Six heavily armed aircraft have arrived at the Libyan base, he said, adding that they will be given to armed groups trained by Amentum headed by John Heller.

The United States is seeking to integrate armed groups in western Libya and push them to carry out operations in areas controlled by the armed forces, al-Khazar said.

He also pointed to the arrival of US weapons in Libya, pointing to Washington’s attempt to strengthen its presence in the country by forming a force similar to regular forces.

The Libyan analyst confirmed the existence of US moves in light of the recent escalation in Tripoli, noting that these moves aim to get rid of parties that were not subject to the US plan.

It is worth noting that the United States of America in 2011 was at the head of the countries that intervened militarily in Libya under the pretext of implementing Security Council Resolution No. 1973, which stipulated the imposition of a comprehensive no-fly zone on the territory of Libya, which led to the fall of the former regime (the regime of Muammar Gaddafi) and the country’s entry into a dark tunnel from which it has not yet emerged.
