The draw for men’s football at the Paris 2024 Olympics led to the formation of groups, with Egypt facing Spain and Morocco facing Argentina.
Egypt came in Group C, which includes Spain and the Dominican Republic, in addition to the runners-up of the U-23 Asian Cup.
Morocco are in Group B, where they will meet Argentina, Ukraine, and third-placed team in the Asian Championship.
Arab football shines in Olympic competitions, after the Atlas Lions won the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations, which was held in Morocco last summer after winning the final match against Egypt.

More Arab teams are expected to participate in the Olympics, with Qatar, Jordan, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait attending the AFC U-23 Nations.
The competition will take place from July 24 to August 9 in Paris, Marseille, Saint-Etienne, Lyon, Nantes, Nice and Bordeaux.
