The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs in the Libyan Government of National Unity, Mohamed Issa, accompanied by Deputy Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department at the Ministry Salah Al-Sharkasi, inaugurated the new headquarters of the Libyan embassy in the Cameroonian capital Yaoundé.
The new headquarters of the Libyan embassy in Yaoundé was inaugurated during Issa’s visit to Cameroon, in the presence of a number of heads of accredited African missions.
Issa also met with the Minister Delegate at the Cameroonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in charge of the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayo, to discuss strengthening and developing relations between the two countries, in the presence of the directors of the relevant departments in the Cameroonian Foreign Ministry, and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Cameroon, Belaid Al-Jaboua, and during the meeting they discussed ways to strengthen and develop Libyan-Cameroonian relations.
The opening of the headquarters coincided with a reception at the Libyan Embassy in Yaoundé, organized by the President of the Audit Bureau at the Libyan Embassy, Khaled Shakshak, for the heads of African Supreme Audit Institutions on the occasion of the launch of the 59th meeting of the Executive Council of the African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI).
