The 96th Academy Awards ceremony organized by the American Academy of Image Arts and Sciences to celebrate the best works of cinema produced over the past year ended Monday morning.
The historic Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California, hosted the concert, which was attended by the world’s most prominent movie stars, on Sunday evening, March 10, at 8 pm Los Angeles time.
The most important ceremony in the world of Hollywood, presented by the journalist Jamie Kimmel for the second time in a row and the fourth overall, witnessed many musical performances that were nominated for the ceremony awards.
The Oscars in all 23 categories were handed out by a host of renowned presenters, including last year’s acting award winners (Michelle Yeoh, Brendan Fraser, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Ki Hui Kwan).
“Oppenheimer” won Best Picture, Christopher Nolan won Best Director and Killyanne Murphy won Best Actor for his role in the same film.

Robert Downey Jr. won the Academy Award for best supporting actor for “Oppenheimer,” in which he plays an evil bureaucrat who seeks to eliminate the famous physicist.
The Best Actress award went to Emma Stone for “Poor Things.”

Here are some of the other winners: Britain’s ‘The Zone of Interest’ for Best Foreign Feature Film and ‘The Boy and the Heron’ for Best Animated Film.
“War is Over” also won Best Animated Short Film, and Davin Joy Randolph won Best Supporting Actress.
Justine Treat and her co-writer Arthur Harari won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for “Anatomy of a Fall.”
American actress Davin Joy Randolph won the Oscar for best supporting actress for her role in “The Holdovers.”
The award for best adapted screenplay went to Cord Jefferson for Cord Jefferson’s American Fiction.
