German Ralf Rangnick, the current coach of the Austrian national team, announced his official refusal to coach the German club Bayern Munich.
The announcement comes after Bayern searched for a new coach following coach Thomas Tuchel’s decision to leave at the end of the season.
The Austrian Football Association confirmed the continuation of Rangnick as coach of the team until the end of his contract and his refusal to move to coach Bayern Munich, and this came in a statement published by the Austrian Federation on its official website.

This decision comes after the first goal of Bayern Munich management was to sign Xabi Alonso, Bayer Leverkusen coach, who rejected the offer and decided to stay with his current team, and after that, the Bavarian club went to Julian Nagelsmann, coach of the Germany national team, who decided to extend his contract until 2026.
It is noteworthy that Ralf Rangnick previously worked as interim manager of Manchester United, in addition to coaching the German team Leipzig.
Austria, which is participating in the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany, is looking forward to Rangnick continuing as its coach until the end of the tournament, which the German coach confirmed in his official statement.
