The Nigerian national team ended the adventure of its Angolan counterpart after beating them by a goal for nothing, in the match that brought them together on Friday evening in the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations football currently being held in Ivory Coast.
The Nigerian team owes the victory to its star player Ademola Lokman, who scored the only goal of the match in the 41st minute of the match.
With this precious victory, the Nigerian team, led by Portuguese coach Jose Besero, advanced to the semi-finals of the continental tournament waiting for the winner of the match against Cape Verde and South Africa.
The Nigerian national team is seeking to win the title for the fourth time in its history, after having previously won the tournament on three occasions (1980, 1994 and 2013).
