A parliamentary bloc called the “Parliamentary Reform Bloc” issued a statement calling for a national movement in order to reach parliamentary and presidential elections in Libya.
The statement comes in light of the intention of Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba and President of the High Council of State Mohamed Tekala to participate in the national dialogue that UN envoy Abdullah Batelli seeks to hold in the hope of reaching a consensus on the next scene in the country and preparing a new roadmap.
The parliamentary “reform bloc” seeks to have members of the High Council of State join it to lead the national movement and move the stagnant political water for some time, in order to agree on the next steps to hold parliamentary and presidential elections.
