The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today the opening of an exhibition in Moscow showing the spoils of the Russian army from NATO weapons seized during military operations in Ukraine.
The exhibition features a variety of Western military equipment, including American Abrams and German Leopard tanks, as well as Swedish and French armored vehicles.
The exhibits consisted of 31 tanks, vehicles, and other vehicles, which were seized in the area of the special military operation.
Andrei Lyubchikov, a senior researcher at the Central Museum of the Russian Army, estimated the value of the Western equipment on display at billions of dollars.
The event is part of Russians’ preparations to celebrate the Victory Day over Nazi Germany and its allies in World War II, which falls on May 9.
