The Moroccan agency “Bayt Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif” launched a humanitarian operation that aims to direct food aid to the residents of the Palestinian city of Jerusalem.
The agency said in a statement on Facebook that the map of the groups benefiting from the qaffa and food rations “is distributed in the neighborhoods of Jerusalem, such as the Old City, Silwan, Sheikh Jarrah, Shuafat camp, al-Thawri, Isawiya, Qalandia and al-Ram camp.”
The agency explained that the distribution of the aid will be as follows: “2,000 Ramadan kaffs for the benefit of 2,000 needy families, including 22 items of basic foodstuffs, including items for children, and others of interest to individuals who are subject to a certain diet.”
“This aid includes 1,000 daily food rations, ensuring that beneficiaries of those registered on the lists of partner associations, and residents of hospital centres and shelters, secure a large part of their food needs throughout the blessed month of Ramadan,” she said.
The agency confirmed that it took into account “the conduct of the distribution of food aid according to special controls, and within a precise programming that takes into account the circumstances surrounding Jerusalem, with strict respect for the conditions of health safety of materials.”
