The Rapid Support Forces in Sudan launched a violent attack on a village in Al-Jazira State, resulting in more than 104 deaths, a committee of “pro-democracy activists” announced on Thursday.
The village of Wad Al-Noura in Al-Jazira State used to organize pro-democracy demonstrations, but this time it faced a horrific attack by the Rapid Support, which resulted in “genocide,” according to a previous statement from the Resistance Committee in the state.

This attack comes in the context of escalating violence in Sudan, where different regions are witnessing repeated attacks and clashes, and the number of displaced people is increasing alarmingly.
The International Organization for Migration warns that the number of displaced people may reach 10 million in the coming days, considering the current situation the worst internal displacement crisis in the world.
For its part, “Doctors Without Borders” calls for urgent action to provide aid and alleviate the suffering of Sudanese civilians who face the threat of famine, disease and ongoing violence.
