Mohamed Salah, the winger of the English Liverpool team, joined the Egyptian national team camp, which is preparing to complete its campaign in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

According to the Egyptian Football Association, the ranks of the “Pharaohs” were completed with the arrival of Salah, the last to join, and Mohamed Sharif before him.

Salah will participate in his first camp under the leadership of Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, after media reported earlier that there were disagreements between the two parties.

Salah had failed to join the Egyptian national team camp last March, to participate in the friendly Egyptian Capital Cup tournament held in the New Administrative Capital, due to him completing the rehabilitation process and recovering from the injury he sustained at the time with Liverpool.

The Egyptian national team is preparing to face its guest, Burkina Faso, on Thursday, June 6, and then travel to face Guinea Bissau on the 10th of the same month, as part of the third and fourth rounds of the African qualifiers for the World Cup.

It is noteworthy that the Egyptian national team was victorious in the first and second rounds of the qualifiers over its guest, Djibouti, by 6-0, and its host, Sierra Leone, with two unanswered goals.
