Egyptian national team star and Liverpool winger, Mohamed Salah, settled the controversy over his future with the team, as he confirmed his stay in the ranks of the club through a post on the social networking site “X”.
In the post, Salah explained his commitment to making efforts to achieve titles next season, saying: “We know that titles are the most important and we will do everything we can to achieve that next season. Our fans deserve it, and we will fight hard.”
The statement came after news circulated that Salah could move to one of the top clubs in the Saudi league, which sparked widespread speculation about his future.

This speculation increased after the dispute that erupted between him and German coach Jürgen Klopp during Liverpool’s match against West Ham United on April 27, which ended in a draw.
In that match, Salah got into an altercation with Klopp after West Ham equalised in the 77th minute.
Salah was preparing to enter the stadium in place of Luis Diaz, when the dispute occurred. Uruguayan Darwin Núñez intervened to break up the clash, which increased tensions between Salah and Klopp, especially with the German coach’s departure from the club approaching.
Despite these differences, Salah sent a farewell message to Klopp, praising the seven years they spent together and describing them as “wonderful and full of achievements”.
Salah posted a photo of his reunion with Klopp on his X account, commenting: “It has been great to share all those trophies and experiences with you over the last seven years. I wish you good luck in the future and hope to meet again.”
