The President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, discussed with the President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, the political and security situation in Libya, during their meeting, the details of which were published on the “X” platform.
Museveni said in the publication that the meeting dealt with strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, while stressing his full support for the exile’s efforts.
The President of Uganda noted that the exile expressed his keenness to restore peace, unity, and development in Libya.
This meeting comes after the exile’s arrival in the Ugandan capital Kampala to participate in the work of the 19th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement and the Third Southern Summit of the Group of 77 and China.
