French star Kylian Mbappe angrily withdrew from a television interview over a “provocative question”, after his team Paris Saint-Germain were knocked out of the Champions League semi-finals.
The French team and its star Mbappe came out of the Champions League, on Tuesday evening, after losing (0-1) against Borussia Dortmund, and (0-2) on aggregate.
The French star did not appear at a distinguished level in his team’s two matches against Borussia Dortmund, and after the meeting, during his confrontation with the press, Mbappe received a question from a journalist about whether he will encourage Real Madrid against Bayern Munich, on Wednesday evening, in the second semi-final summit.
The question was prompted by the “high probability” of Mbappe moving to Real Madrid next summer.
As soon as he heard the question, Mbappe looked at the journalist angrily, then walked away from the reporters, refusing to answer.
Mbappe’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in the coming weeks, amid strong speculation about his move to Real Madrid, but his future remains the subject of further speculation and waiting.
