Vice President of the Libyan-Egyptian Businessmen Council, Mukhtar Al-Qalai, announced the participation of four major Egyptian companies in reconstruction projects in Libya with a business value exceeding $4 billion.
This came during an expanded meeting in Cairo of the Egyptian 10th of Ramadan Industrial Investors Association with members of the Libyan-Egyptian Business Owners Council, which aims to open new markets for Egyptian industry, especially in the 10th of Ramadan City, in the presence of 60 companies from the association’s members.
Al-Qalai pointed out that “the council reports directly to the Minister of Economy in Libya,” and among its primary goals is holding the “Made in Egypt” exhibition in Libya from September 21 to 24 to introduce the public to the Egyptian product and its quality.
He also mentioned that the Council has prior cooperation agreements with the Union of Arab Women Investors, including organizing the exhibition in the presence of businessmen and all Libyan ministers, while allocating $120 billion for reconstruction in Libya.
