English press reports indicate that Liverpool FC is open to selling its Egyptian star Mohamed Salah to one of the Saudi league clubs during the next summer mercato.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the Reds’ management will not reject a huge offer from Saudi Arabia to sign Salah, especially as the player’s contract draws to an end in the summer of 2025.

Liverpool are looking to benefit financially from the sale of Salah, especially in light of the technical changes that the team is witnessing with the arrival of new coach Arne Slot.

Salah is also reportedly open to staying at Liverpool and working with Slotte, but in return, the Reds’ management may agree to the departure of Luis Diaz, especially with some European clubs interested in signing him, in order to provide financial space for new signings.

The newspaper revealed that Saudi club Ittihad Jeddah has made an offer to sign Mohamed Salah, which includes a whopping sum of up to £215 million (about 251.6 million euros).

According to the information, the offer includes a weekly salary for Salah of up to £2.45 million. (about €2.86 million) without incentives and bonuses.
