Tunisian Interior Minister Kamel Feki received on Friday the Ambassador of the State of Libya to Tunisia, Mustafa Mohamed Qadara.

The meeting took place at the ministry’s headquarters in Tunis, where the Tunisian Interior Ministry said that the two sides reviewed during the meeting the status of cooperation between the two countries.

They reviewed the efforts of the two countries in addressing the phenomenon of illegal immigration, facilitating procedures for the movement of citizens of the two countries at border crossings, and scheduling the meetings of the Joint Security Committee in Tunisia as soon as possible.

On the Tunisian-Libyan border, there are two land crossings in southern Tunisia, namely the Ras Jedir crossing in the city of Ben Guerdane in Medenine governorate, and the “Dhiba Wazen” crossing in the city of Dhiba in Tataouine governorate.
